About PEKOM
PEKOM is the official computer science club of University Malaya, responsible for organising student-involved events. We strive to bridge the gap between academia and the industry by actively collaborating with industry leaders.
Our Mission
Our mission is to foster a thriving community that empowers students with practical skills and networking opportunities, preparing them for successful careers in the field of computer science.
We host student-involved events that proactively collaborate with industry leaders to integrate cohesive learning, allowing an introductory exposure of our collaborators' brands.
Our Vision
We wish to preserve a nurturing environment for students, allowing space for skills development, while capitalising on valuable industry insights and acknowledging new emerging trends.
Currently, our focus lies in fostering the growth of entrepreneurial startups and laying the groundwork for establishing our alumni community.
